Dr. Amita Jain is an accomplished Associate Director in the Division of Urology and Andrology, specializing in Urogynaecology and Renal Care at Medanta – The Medicity, Delhi NCR. With 17 years of experience and exclusive focus on urogynaecology since 2009, she has established herself as a pioneer in advanced urogynaecological procedures within the field of urology in India. Her expertise encompasses both surgical and non-surgical approaches to conditions affecting the female urinary tract, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, and urinary tract reconstruction. Dr. Jain holds the distinction of performing several landmark urological procedures in India, including the country's first TVT-Abbrevo in 2012, North India's first TVT Exact in 2014 for the treatment of Stress Urinary Incontinence, and the first Anterior Prosima in 2012 for the treatment of Prolapse. She has also pioneered advanced diagnostic procedures in the country, including dynamic MRI pelvis, 2D/3D transperineal USG, and robotic urogynaecology.
