Our Editorial Policy

How we create our content, where our information comes from, and how we work to keep it accurate and trustworthy for the patients we serve.

Our commitment to trustworthy health information

Ginger Healthcare exists to help international patients make confident, well-informed decisions about medical treatment in India. The information on this website is created as a public service first — our goal is to give you accurate, balanced, and genuinely useful information, whether or not you ever choose to travel with us.

This page explains honestly how our content is created, where our information comes from, and how we are working to strengthen it.

How we create our content

1
Research. Our writers begin with reputable medical and clinical sources, published treatment guidelines, and information from the accredited hospitals and specialist doctors we work with across India.
2
Writing. Content is drafted by our health content writers — professional writers with postgraduate qualifications who specialise in making complex medical topics clear and readable for patients. We use modern writing tools, including AI-assisted drafting, to help structure and clarify information — but every article is directed, checked, and finalised by a member of our team, and nothing is published on the strength of an automated draft alone.
3
Accuracy and editorial check. Before publication, each article is checked by our editorial team for clarity, balance, and consistency with our sources. We aim to describe treatments, options, and what to expect in plain, patient-friendly language — without overstating benefits or downplaying risks.
4
Independent specialist review (being introduced). We are building a panel of practising specialist doctors to provide independent medical review of our content, specialty by specialty. This is being introduced progressively. When a qualified specialist has reviewed an article, that article will clearly show the reviewer's name, their specialty, and the date of review. Until an article carries a named medical reviewer, it has not yet been through independent specialist review — and we say so plainly rather than imply otherwise.

Where our information comes from

Ginger Healthcare works with accredited hospitals and experienced specialist doctors across India. Our treatment and specialty information is informed by these clinical partners and by established medical sources.

Note: this describes the sources that inform our content — it does not mean every listed doctor has personally reviewed every article. Any article that has been independently reviewed will say so, with the reviewer named.
