Dr. Attique Vasdev is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon serving as Vice Chairman of the Knee Unit at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, where he has been a key member of the orthopaedic team since 2009. With extensive training and a career spanning multiple prestigious institutions across India and internationally, Dr. Vasdev brings a wealth of expertise in knee replacement, sports injuries, and ligament reconstruction.
After completing his postgraduate training, Dr. Vasdev joined Holy Family Hospital as a senior resident before shifting to Government Medical College, Chandigarh. He subsequently served at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics until 2002. He further honed his skills at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as an Orthopaedic Consultant before joining Medanta Hospital.
His international training includes a Trauma fellowship in Developing and Organizing Trauma Systems from Israel and a fellowship in Joint Replacement from Germany, equipping him with a global perspective on advanced orthopaedic care. Dr. Vasdev has contributed significantly to academic orthopaedics, with numerous international and national publications to his credit. He has also authored chapters in several books on joint replacements and sports injuries, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field.
