He holds the distinction of being the first surgeon in India to have completed a certified Fellowship training of two years in Implant Otology from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore — one of the country's most respected medical institutions. With 14 meritorious awards including 6 gold medals in the field of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Dr. Satya Kiran has built an outstanding reputation through numerous presentations and publications at regional, national, and international forums. He has served as an organiser and operating surgical faculty at various Regional and National Live Surgical Workshops, and is the author of the Handbook on Dissection Manual for Basic & Advanced Cochlear Implantation. His extensive training includes advanced cochlear implant surgery from the Institute for Cochlear Implant Training (ICIT) in Los Angeles, clinical observership at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and a World Skull Base Foundation Diploma Course at Ramaiah Advanced Learning Centre, Bengaluru.
