Dr. Dattatray Mazumdar is an internationally trained neurosurgeon with 23 years of experience in neurosurgery, currently practicing in Mumbai, India. He is widely recognized for popularizing the regular use of Intraoperative Electrocorticography during epilepsy surgery — a technique that has significantly enhanced surgical precision and outcomes. As the surgical counterpart of the first comprehensive epilepsy surgery care program in Western India, Dr. Mazumdar has been instrumental in performing over 600 epilepsy surgery cases between 2001 and 2019, with a particular commitment to serving underprivileged communities.
