Dr. G. Parthasarathy is a highly accomplished senior consultant in surgical gastroenterology and minimal access surgery with over two decades of distinguished academic and professional experience. He has performed more than 2,000 laparoscopic procedures for complex gastrointestinal disorders, including bariatric and metabolic surgery, hepatobiliary conditions, and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. His expertise extends to treating common anorectal problems such as fistula-in-ano and hemorrhoids, and he has pioneered the use of LASER technology in managing anorectal conditions. Dr. Parthasarathy completed his super specialty training in surgical gastroenterology from the prestigious SGPGIMS, Lucknow, and further refined his skills in advanced hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation at CLBS, New Delhi. He also trained as an international visiting fellow at the renowned Asan Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Indian Association of Gastroendoscopic Surgeons (FIAGES) in 2016. With a strong commitment to research and teaching, he has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals and authored chapters in medical textbooks.
