Dr. Gaurav Dixit is a highly accomplished Hematologist and Hemato-Oncologist with over 20 years of clinical experience, currently serving as Head of Hematology, Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, India. He holds the distinguished designation of DM (Clinical Hematology) and BMT Physician, bringing a rare combination of deep clinical expertise and compassionate patient care to the field of blood disorders and blood cancers.
Dr. Dixit completed his MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) from PGIMS Rohtak before pursuing his DM in Clinical Hematology from the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore — widely regarded as one of the foremost hematology training programs in the country. He further earned professional certification in Multiple Myeloma from the Mayo Clinic, USA, in January 2022, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of global advances in hematological care.
He joined CMC Vellore, which has one of the best hematology departments in the country, in late 2011, and passed the DM examination of Clinical Hematology in 2015. Prior to joining Artemis Hospitals, Dr. Dixit worked at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, and Action Cancer Hospital. He is recognized as a result-oriented clinician with expertise in the latest developments in hematological and blood cancer treatment, having established himself in a special place in the field of Hemato-Oncology. His medical skills have been recognized wherever he has served, and he is known as a physician who is always willing to attend, listen, and help. Notably, he performed the First Bone Marrow Transplant in Kenya in October 2022.
