Dr. Govindaraj AB is a highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with over 35 years of dedicated experience in the field of orthopaedics and joint replacement surgery. A graduate of Madras University (MBBS, 1980) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow (FRCS, 1985), Dr. Govindaraj brings a wealth of international training and clinical expertise to his practice. He trained extensively in orthopaedics and joint replacement surgery in the United Kingdom for eight years before returning to India in 1990. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Govindaraj has performed over 10,000 surgeries, including more than 3,000 joint replacement procedures. He is widely recognized for his specialization in joint replacement surgery, with a particular focus on bilateral knee replacement surgery. His extensive surgical volume and decades of experience make him one of the most seasoned orthopaedic surgeons in the region.
