Prof. Dr. Jeewan Singh Titiyal is one of India's most distinguished ophthalmologists, bringing over 37 years of exceptional experience in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. A recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri (2014) — one of India's highest civilian honors — he is recognized nationally and internationally for his outstanding contributions to ophthalmology. As Regional Head of Clinical Services at Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital, New Delhi, and former Chief of the Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at AIIMS, he has performed more than 100,000 ophthalmic surgeries for patients from every walk of life. Prof. Titiyal holds a deep commitment to surgical innovation, academic research, and advancing evidence-based cornea and refractive surgery. He has served as invited faculty at over 200 conferences, delivered more than 2,000 lectures, and performed over 100 live surgical demonstrations across international and national forums. As President (Elect) of the All India Ophthalmological Society and Regional Head of Clinical Services, he continues to shape the future of eye care in India and beyond.
