Dr. K. K. Handa is the Chairman of the Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at Medanta, one of India's most prestigious multi-specialty hospitals. A distinguished laryngologist and ENT surgeon, he brings over 36 years of extensive clinical experience to his practice, making him one of the most seasoned and respected specialists in his field. His areas of expertise span laryngology, voice surgery, cochlear implants, microscopic ear surgery, laser surgery, and endoscopic sinus surgery, positioning him as a comprehensive ENT care provider.
Prior to joining Medanta at its inception in 2009, Dr. Handa served as an Associate Professor in the Department of ENT at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he was a faculty member for 13 years. He also served as Senior Resident at PGIMER Chandigarh, further solidifying his academic and clinical foundation. Dr. Handa is the former President of the Association of Phono-surgeons of India and was the association's Founder Secretary, reflecting his pioneering contributions to voice surgery in the country. He is widely regarded as among the foremost voice and laser surgeons in India.
