With extensive training and practice across both India and the United Kingdom, he brings a wealth of international expertise to the care of cancer patients. His career spans prestigious NHS hospitals throughout the UK — including Christie NHS Manchester, Clatterbridge NHS Liverpool, and Western General Hospital Edinburgh before returning to India to continue serving patients at leading healthcare institutions in Chennai. Dr. Gopi's clinical expertise covers a broad spectrum of solid tumors and hematological malignancies, including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, lymphoma, leukemias, and hepato-biliary-pancreatic cancers. Throughout his career, Dr. Gopi has been actively involved in clinical research, participating in multiple landmark clinical trials in the UK, including trials for Trastuzumab (HERA), Bevacizumab, Rituximab, Imatinib, Sunitinib, Letrozole, and Panitumumab.
