Dr. Kiran Peddi is a Senior Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, Hyderabad, with over 23 years of clinical experience. He is one of India's leading gastroenterologists, distinguished by his extensive international training and practice across three continents — the United Kingdom, Australia, and India — at the consultant level. During his 11-year tenure in the UK and one year in Australia, he trained and worked at renowned institutions, gaining high-level expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). Dr. Peddi has worked at world-class IBD centres, including the Intestinal Failure Unit at Hope Hospital and the Centre for IBD for Western Australia. He is recognized as one of the first to introduce EUS services in the erstwhile United Telugu States and has the credit of successfully establishing and running gastroenterology departments at other institutes before moving to Yashoda. He is passionate about medical education, serving as one of the few international MRCP examiners for India, and played a key role in bringing the MRCP PACES exam centre to Hyderabad.
