Dr. M. Jayasree is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, including acute stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, Guillain–Barré syndrome, myasthenia gravis, neuropathies, neuroinfections, neuromuscular disorders, and demyelinating and autoimmune disorders of the central nervous system. Since completing her DM Neurology and Senior Residency at the prestigious Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, she has been serving as a Consultant Neurologist at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad, since August 2017. Dr. Jayasree has a focused interest in movement disorders, including drug-induced, genetic, metabolic, and autoimmune etiologies. As an integral member of the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and MRI-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) program, she evaluates patients with Parkinson's disease and tremor syndromes, actively contributing to postoperative programming and long-term management. She also possesses significant expertise in managing neuroinfectious conditions, neuromuscular disorders such as CIDP and motor neuron disease, and provides round-the-clock EEG services for seizure evaluation. In collaboration with the interventional radiology team, she has expertise in treating patients requiring acute stroke interventions, including intravenous thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy.
