Dr. Manish Jain is a highly accomplished nephrologist serving as Senior Director in the Department of Nephrology, Kidney Transplant, and Renal Care. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Dr. Jain is recognized as one of India's leading experts in renal disorders, renal transplantation, and dialysis management. His dedication to the field was honored with the prestigious Nephrologist of the Year – National ET Healthcare Award, a testament to his exceptional clinical contributions and commitment to patient care.
Dr. Jain began his professional journey in 1996 after completing his MBBS from PGIMS Rohtak, followed by postgraduate training in Medicine (MD) and further specialization in Nephrology (DM) from Chennai. He subsequently pursued a Clinical Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, where he deepened his expertise in nephrology. After completing his fellowship, he joined Medanta The Medicity in 2010, where he has since been working as Director in the Division of Nephrology & Renal Transplant Medicine. He has been awarded FICP by the Indian College of Physicians and FISN by the Indian Society of Nephrology for his outstanding work and continuing service to the medical community.
Dr. Jain is a prolific researcher and educator, having published and presented more than 50 articles in various books, journals, and international conferences, including a chapter on Kidney Transplantation in the elderly and those with diabetes in a prestigious Oxford book on Renal Transplantation in Developing Countries. He serves as Co-Editor for a book on Case Studies in Nephrology and has been a DNB Nephrology teacher and guide. He is deeply committed to social service, organizing free medical check-up camps and awareness programs for kidney disease prevention.
