Dr. Manoj Padman is a highly accomplished paediatric orthopaedic surgeon serving as Director of Paediatric Orthopaedics at Fortis Hospital, Gurgaon. With over 20 years of rich clinical experience spanning India and the United Kingdom, Dr. Padman brings a rare combination of international training, research expertise, and specialized surgical skill to the care of children and adults with orthopaedic conditions.
Dr. Padman qualified from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry, and holds the Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations in Orthopaedic Surgery. He spent a decade in the United Kingdom working across various orthopaedic departments at the University hospitals of Leeds and Sheffield, during which he obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and successfully passed the intercollegiate examination in Trauma and Orthopaedics (FRCS Tr & Orth) in 2008. He was also awarded a Masters in Research in 2004 from the University of Leeds for his work on biological reactions to polyethylene used in arthroplasty. His fellowship at Sheffield Children's Hospital, where he served as a National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics and later as Consultant in Paediatrics Orthopaedics, equipped him with comprehensive exposure to the full range of paediatric orthopaedic disciplines.
