Dr. Muruganandham K is a highly accomplished urologist and kidney transplant specialist currently serving as Director of Urology and Urogynaecology, Kidney Transplant, and Robotic Surgery at Gleneagles Hospital, Chennai (Perumbakkam). With 19 years of cumulative clinical and academic experience, he has established himself as a trusted expert in endo-urology, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, renal transplantation, and uro-oncology. Dr. Muruganandham obtained his medical degree from Thanjavur Medical College and went on to complete his Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER). He further earned a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in General Surgery, followed by a Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Urology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences. His dedication to advancing surgical skills led him to receive a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India. Throughout his career, Dr. Muruganandham has worked extensively in both clinical and academic capacities across general surgery, urology, and renal transplantation. He has contributed to numerous research projects as a principal investigator, co-investigator, guide, and co-guide, and has remained actively involved in workshops and conferences.
