Dr. P. A. Jiwani is a highly experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over four decades of expertise in cardiology and cardiac interventions. With advanced training from prestigious institutions in India, the United Kingdom, and France, he brings a wealth of international knowledge and clinical skill to his practice. He currently serves as Senior Consultant & Interventional Cardiologist at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Superspeciality Hospital in Hyderabad. Dr. Jiwani has been actively involved in numerous landmark international clinical trials, including the MICHELANGELO OASIS-6 (STEMI) Study, the PLATO Study, the OASIS-7 (CURRENT) Study, and the XIENCE V Registry, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based medicine and advancing cardiovascular care. His areas of special interest include coronary angioplasty, stenting, balloon valvuloplasty, and preventive cardiology. He has also served as a live case operator at multiple national and international cardiology workshops, demonstrating his expertise in complex coronary interventions and trans-radial procedures. As a life member of the Cardiology Society of India, the Academy of Medical Sciences (India), and the Indian Medical Association, and having served as President of the Andhra Pradesh Cardiology Society of India (2007–2008), Dr. Jiwani is a respected leader in the Indian cardiology community.
