Dr. Prasun Deb is a highly experienced endocrinologist with over 25 years of clinical expertise in the management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic bone diseases, growth disorders, and a wide range of hormonal conditions. He currently serves as the Head of Department and Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) Minister Road, Secunderabad. His extensive training includes a Doctorate in Medicine (D.M.) in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Dr. Deb has a distinguished career spanning premier institutions across India, including Yashoda Hospital (Hyderabad), Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences, and KIMS Hospital. He brings specialized expertise in pediatric and adult bone diseases, growth hormone disorders, and diabetes with complications. His research contributions include numerous publications in national and international journals on topics ranging from osteoporosis and hypothyroidism to hyperparathyroidism and diabetic complications. As a Regional Faculty for the Public Health Foundation of India and ABIDE, and a certified faculty member for CCEBDM (Certificate Course in Evidence-Based Diabetes Mellitus), Dr. Deb is deeply committed to medical education and advancing endocrine care. He has guided multiple DNB Endocrine residents and has been an active member of several professional societies, including the Endocrine Society (USA) and the Indian Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
