Dr. (Prof.) Ravi Sauhta is a highly accomplished Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement surgeon with over 30 years of rich experience in the field of orthopaedic surgery. Currently serving as Chief and HOD of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement (Unit VII) at Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon, he has built a distinguished career spanning multiple countries and prestigious institutions. He has been a visiting consultant in different hospitals since 1995 and has headed and developed departments of Orthopaedics and created sub-specialties in Peace Hospital. From 2014 to 2018, he was director and Head of the Department of Joint Replacement and Orthopaedics at Max Hospital.
Dr. Sauhta brings specialized expertise in Pelvic & Acetabular Surgery, Adult Joint Reconstruction, and Revision Joint Replacement Surgery. He holds fellowship training from Regions Hospital under the University of Minnesota in the USA and has additional training from the US and Korea in arthroplasty and spine surgery. His particular areas of interest include Pelvic Acetabular Surgery, Adult Joint Reconstruction and Revision Joint Surgery for failed joints, Polytrauma Patient Management, and limb salvage surgeries for large bone tumors. With more than 20 scientific publications and over 10 years of teaching experience in medical school, Dr. Sauhta is recognized as a leading authority in complex orthopaedic care.
