Dr. Sanjay Sarup is a distinguished pediatric orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions in children. Serving as Head of Orthopedics (Unit-II) and Chief of Paediatric Orthopaedics & Spine Surgery at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, he is widely recognized as India's first qualified pediatric orthopedic surgeon to establish a dedicated independent practice in Delhi. His clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of pediatric orthopedic care, including congenital hip dislocations, club foot deformity correction, scoliosis and spinal deformity management, and complex limb deformity correction in children. Dr. Sarup completed a significant portion of his advanced training in the United Kingdom, where he obtained his FRCS and MCh Ortho qualifications. In 1999, he was awarded a prestigious fellowship at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow, further refining his expertise in children's musculoskeletal surgery. He went on to establish the Paediatric Orthopaedic Unit at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi in 2004 and subsequently developed the pediatric orthopedic and spine division at Medanta Medicity in 2009 before assuming his current leadership role at Artemis Hospital.
