Dr. Sethu Babu is a highly accomplished gastroenterologist and hepatologist serving as HOD and Senior Consultant at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hyderabad. With an illustrious academic foundation that includes gold medals in both MBBS and MD, a DM in Gastroenterology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and a Fellowship in Hepatology from King's College Hospital, London, Dr. Sethu Babu brings exceptional expertise to the management of complex gastrointestinal and liver diseases. With decades of clinical and academic experience spanning roles as Assistant Professor at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and Professor at Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, Dr. Sethu Babu has built a distinguished career in both patient care and medical education. He has been associated with the DNB training program since 2003 and has contributed 13 papers to Indian and international journals, along with an article in the textbook of Tropical Gastroenterology published by Elsevier. Dr. Sethu Babu's expertise is recognized internationally, with invited lectures delivered to the Russian Society of Gastroenterology, the Medical Association of Iraq, and medical associations in Nairobi, Dhaka, and Nepal. He has been actively involved in clinical trials, including five trials of the hepatitis B vaccine, and holds leadership roles as Vice President of INASL AP&T and Member of the ISG Chapter AP&T.
