Dr. Shiva Raju is a highly experienced Senior Consultant Physician and Diabetologist with over 20 years of clinical practice in Hyderabad, India. He has served as a Senior Consultant Physician & Diabetologist and Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad, since April 2005. With a deep commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Raju has treated thousands of patients in emergencies, infections, and chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, obesity, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis, earning an outstanding reputation for clinical outcomes. Dr. Raju has distinguished himself as a principal investigator in international clinical trials related to hypertension, HIV neuropathy, malaria, influenza, diabetes, and metabolic conditions. His research involvement spans collaborations with leading pharmaceutical companies including Novartis, Sanofi Aventis, and others. He is also a dedicated teacher and mentor, training postgraduate students in Medicine and Family Medicine at KIMS Hospital for over a decade.
