Dr. Shreedhar Archik is a highly accomplished orthopaedic and joint replacement surgeon with over 37 years of rich clinical experience. Currently serving as Senior Consultant in Orthopedics and Joint Replacement at Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai, he is widely recognized for his expertise in joint preservation surgeries, osteotomies around the knee, complex trauma management, and limb lengthening procedures. His career spans prestigious institutions across India and the United Kingdom, including Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the University of Oxford, where he served as a Limb Reconstruction Fellow and Lecturer. Dr. Archik is a distinguished academic scholar who was awarded an M.Sc. from Oxford University for his pioneering research in limb lengthening. He received Postgraduate Merit Scholarships from the University of Bombay for three consecutive years (1987–1989) and trained in Hamburg, Germany, for computer-assisted joint replacement surgeries. His commitment to patient welfare extends beyond the hospital — he co-founded NAVAM, a community trust dedicated to providing financial aid and free surgical care to underprivileged patients requiring joint replacement surgery.
