Dr. Subodh Chandra Pande is a highly accomplished radiation oncologist serving as Chief of Radiation Oncology & Co-Chief of the CyberKnife Centre at Artemis Hospital, Gurugram. With an extensive career spanning decades in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Pande has built a distinguished reputation for his expertise in advanced radiation therapy techniques, including modern teletherapy, brachytherapy, and cutting-edge image-guided and PET scan-based technologies for cancer management.
After obtaining his MD in radiotherapy from AIIMS, New Delhi in 1997, Dr. Pande served at the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he was involved in establishing its neurooncology and paediatric oncology services. He then moved to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi in 1997 and helped upgrade its stereotactic radiosurgery facility and develop a modern radiation oncology department. In 2005, he was appointed as the Director of Medical Services at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, and was instrumental in the commissioning of its modern Linear Accelerator — a first for the State of Rajasthan.
Dr. Pande has special interest in the use of Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and PET scan-based techniques for cancer management. Dr. Pande's clinical focus includes head and neck cancers, CNS tumors, childhood cancers, and prostate cancers.
