Dr. Sushant Mishra is a compassionate and dedicated interventional cardiologist committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. Currently serving as a Consultant in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram, Dr. Mishra brings extensive training from India's most prestigious medical institutions, including the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
Dr. Mishra's clinical journey has been marked by exceptional expertise in complex coronary and peripheral interventions. During his super-specialty training at AIIMS, he was part of the team involved in the first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) performed at the institution and contributed to research related to CRT-D device implantation. He has since honed his skills in complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular procedures, and image-guided techniques including IVUS and OCT across multiple leading hospitals in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Kerala, and Punjab.
Dr. Mishra completed his medicine residency at PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he gained remarkable experience in communicable and non-communicable diseases, participated in national and international conferences, and contributed to clinical research published in international journals. After completing his DM Cardiology at AIIMS, New Delhi, he practiced as a consultant cardiologist at several elite organizations across Delhi-NCR and Haryana, including Indraprastha Apollo Hospital (New Delhi), Meditrina Hospital (Kollam, Kerala), Park (Metro) Hospital (Palam Vihar, Gurgaon), and various Civil Hospitals in Haryana, before joining Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram.
Dr. Mishra has various publications in both national and international journals and has contributed chapters to multiple standard textbooks, including chapters on renal artery stenting, interventions in peripheral vascular disease, the role of SGLT2i in heart failure, and stroke with peripheral vascular disease.
