With over 18 years of clinical experience and advanced qualifications including MRCP, FRCR (UK), CCT, and EBIR, she brings the combined perspective of both a physician and an interventional radiologist, offering precise, patient-centred, minimally invasive care. Trained in the prestigious Yorkshire Deanery in the UK, Dr. Deepashree is one of the few interventional radiologists who seamlessly bridges diagnostic expertise with therapeutic intervention. Her clinical accomplishments are impressive — she has performed over 1,800 TACE procedures, more than 200 uterine artery embolizations, and a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions for cancer, women's health, pain management, organ preservation, and complex image-guided therapies. Selected as an International Scholar at the Society of Interventional Radiology Meeting (Atlanta, 2015), she also serves as a Professional Development Advisor at IRIA and mentors young radiologists through MIRACLE (Madras Interventional Radiology Circle).
