Dr. Tejinder Kataria is a world-renowned Radiation Oncologist and Chairperson of Radiation Oncology at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, India. With over 35 years of distinguished experience, she is celebrated for introducing India's first Infinity Linear Accelerator with Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), establishing North India's first Integrated Brachytherapy Unit, and bringing the latest advancements in stereotactic radiation treatment to Medanta. Dr. Kataria is credited with founding the Department of Radiation Oncology at both Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi, and Artemis Health Institute, Gurugram, as well as establishing the Division of Radiation Oncology at Medanta Gurugram. She has studied at premier institutes across India and abroad, including PGI Chandigarh, the University of Cambridge, the University of Leeds, and Harvard University. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of advanced radiation therapies, and she has introduced cutting-edge techniques such as Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Brachytherapy, Total Body Irradiation (TBI), and Total Skin Electron Therapy (TSET).
