His extensive career spans prestigious institutions across India and internationally, including positions in Malaysia, reflecting his broad clinical exposure and global perspective in cancer care. Dr. Balasundaram's expertise encompasses a wide range of radiation oncology techniques, including external beam radiotherapy, intraluminal brachytherapy, and concurrent chemoradiation protocols. His published research in peer-reviewed journals — including the American Journal of Clinical Oncology — and poster presentations at international conferences such as the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2013 demonstrate his commitment to advancing cancer treatment.
