Dr. V. Dayasagar Rao is a highly distinguished consultant cardiologist with over five decades of experience in the field of cardiology. Having earned his MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, in 1964, he went on to obtain prestigious fellowships from the Royal College of Edinburgh (1969) and the Royal College of Canada (1971), followed by a DM in Cardiology from CMC, Vellore, Chennai, in 1975. His extensive international training and decades of clinical practice make him one of the most seasoned cardiologists in the region. Dr. Dayasagar Rao has served in prominent academic and clinical positions throughout his career, including as Professor of Cardiology at Osmania Medical College and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital, Hyderabad. He has been actively participating in clinical trials since 1994 and has been recognized as a teacher by the National Board for DNB Cardiology since 1994, reflecting his commitment to both patient care and medical education. Currently practicing at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hyderabad, Dr. Rao brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every patient interaction.
