With extensive training in cancer surgery and a strong foundation in both general surgery and surgical oncology, he brings a wealth of expertise to the management of complex cancer cases. His qualifications span multiple prestigious institutions across India and internationally, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence. Dr. Vimalathithan completed his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College and pursued his M.S. in General Surgery from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He received specialized training in Surgical Oncology from the prestigious Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru, and earned his Surgical Oncology qualification from the Diplomate of National Board (DNB). He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh, and has completed a Clinical Observership at the Nebraska Cancer Center, Omaha, USA.
