Dr. Y.M. Prashanth is a highly skilled Consultant Urologist, Uro-Oncologist, Andrologist, and Robotic Surgeon with extensive expertise in advanced urological care. Since 2017, he has served as a Senior Resident, Assistant Professor, and Consultant in Urology at premier medical institutions in India. He has independently performed more than 200 upper and lower tract robotic surgeries, over 100 renal transplant procedures, and numerous minimally invasive laparoscopic and endourological interventions, establishing himself as a proficient specialist across the full spectrum of urological conditions. Dr. Prashanth holds an M.Ch. in Urology and a DNB in Urology from Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, along with prestigious fellowships including the BOE–USI International Travel Fellowship (BAUS-UK, AIR 5th Rank) and Fellowship in Advanced Clinical Training in Laparoscopic/Robotic Surgeries. He is a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) and a Fellow in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS). His research portfolio includes numerous peer-reviewed publications in the Central European Journal of Urology and the Indian Journal of Urology, and he has been recognized with multiple national awards including the Achievers Award 2020 from DUSCON and Best Poster awards at USICON and NZUSICON conferences.
