“I came from the UK for total right hip replacement as the private cost at home was prohibitively expensive for me and my pain was too intense to wait a year or more for free heathcare. I found GInger Healthcare online, explained my issues and sent the XRay I had had done together with the accompanying report. Anushka at Ginger gave me two or three options and I chose Dr Oberoi at Artemis Hospital in Gurgaon. Anushka arranged everything for me, the invitation letter and my medical visa were all done quickly and easily. I then booked my flight and was met by Mohsin who accompanied me to my hotel. Although they did offer various suggestions of hotel I took my own option. Mohsin came with me to all appointments and even visited me every day during my 6 days in hospital. I had come alone so it was nice to see a friendly face. I was to stay in India for 6 weeks post surgery (my choice) as I wanted to ensure I was well on the healing path before going home. Mohsin organised for my physio as well and was very adept at taking me from place to place within the hospital for various tests, paying for them, collecting prescription drugs from the pharmacy etc. I would have had no idea how to negotiate the hospital system without him. Whilst I was in India my 2 month earlier broken wrist decided to turn into carpel tunnel syndrome. I asked Mohsin to get a quote for me which he did, and we went to a different hospital for that. He was with me the day of the surgery and even waited til gone 8.30 pm to stay with me as I had been put on major drugs for pain and he didnt want to leave until I had woken up. They kept me in overnight. ALSO I had had problems with my right shoulder and Mohsin organised an MRI for it (requested by my osteopath at hime). So, I am due to go back to the UK in two days time having had not one but two surgeries! So thank you Ginger Healthcare, Anushka for getting me over here with all the correct documentation and for Mohsin to be with me at every turn. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you. 😊”
