Travellers from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport will find the widest choice of routing options, including direct services that have made the journey considerably more straightforward in recent years. Passengers departing from Haifa or Jerusalem typically connect through Ben Gurion, adding only a short domestic transfer. Air India operates the only nonstop service between Tel Aviv (Ben Gurion) and Delhi, with a flight time of approximately 6 hours; EL AL also offers nonstop Delhi flights. No nonstop service currently exists from Tel Aviv to Mumbai, Chennai, or Hyderabad: travellers to those cities connect through Delhi or a Gulf hub such as Abu Dhabi or Dubai, bringing typical door-to-gate journey times to roughly 9–14 hours depending on the connection.
